Raspberry Milk by The Rochford Project
Today I am trying out some Raspberry Milk by The Rochford Project. The Rochford Project (re-branded from ‘The Demon Vaper’ E-liquid) originates from the UK and ran by Jay ‘The Demon Vaper’. The current range consists of 4 flavours.
Device used: Smok Alien and Geekvape Tsunami RDA with 0.8 coil build.
Raspberry Milk is described as thick Raspberry and Vanilla milkshake topped with delicious whipped cream being drizzled with a sweet Raspberry syrup.
I usually try to aim for 200 words per review of any E-liquid, but I think this juice is going to go way over that, just on the amazing way it is presented. Jay really has thought of the vaper with this range, the presentation and packaging is so unique and a lot of thought has gone into this.
Currently as of October 2017, there are 3 options per flavour. 0mg, 3mg and 6mg nicotine strength. I have the 60ml bottle in a 3mg strength, so getting 50ml of juice supplied with a 10ml Nicotine shot. It is all put into a really great looking box that includes everything you need to know written on there. All the warnings, contact details, flavour profile and a step by step guide on how to add the nicotine are all neatly put on the box. It really is amazing packaging with great font and detail.
In the box, you get the 60ml glass bottle containing the eliquid (all sealed with the screw top dripper), a 10ml bottle of VG Nicotine (depending on chosen nic strength), a separate Unicorn (travel) bottle to decant from your glass bottle when on the move (even labelled up with the flavour), a sticker (who doesn’t like stickers eh), a business card and even a folded pair of gloves for adding the nicotine shot. Jay really has thought of everything and the attention he has given to every detail is truly impressive. Even the invoice/packing slip is so high in detail, well presented and fits in with the company theme.
Smelling from the bottle, you are hit with a really sweet Raspberry and tones of cream. My bottle has had a couple of days steeping after adding the Nicotine shot.
On vaping the ejuice, you get a very smooth Raspberry blended with a milky cream flavour. The Raspberry is not over-sweet and blends really well with the cream back notes. I’m not a keen Raspberry vape fan but this is blended so well and such a tasty Raspberry flavour, it really works. It’s a fresh Raspberry and in no way synthetic tasting. To me, it tastes exactly like a very creamy Raspberry milkshake. It is very smooth on the inhale and the taste sticks around on the exhale. Cloud production is good on this 30/70 PG/VG mix.
My score: 9/10 – The attention to detail on both the E-liquid and packaging is outstanding.
Keep track of the blog to see more reviews of The Rochford Project in the future.
Edit in February 19: The Rochford Project have now changed the bottles on ‘Raspberry Milk’. The range now come in 60ml unicorn shortfill bottles. The same great flavour now resides in these bottles with the usual great design on the labels.
