Orange Tart by Dinner Lady
Back with the first review of 2018 and am having a vape on one of the newer flavours by Dinner Lady. Orange Tart by Dinner Lady has not long released at the later part of last year, along with two other new flavours in the desert range.
Device used: Yihi SX Mini G Class and Geekvape Pearless RDA with 0.4 ohm coil.
The bottle I have is a 50ml glass shortfill. That means the e-liquid is nicotine free in a bigger bottle so you can add nicotine or a nicotine shot to the mix. Shortfill bottles are not governed by TPD rules, so this comes in just the bottle with very little warnings. It is after all just sold as a base mix with flavourings. They are also sold in TPD compliant 10ml bottles (3 x 10ml bottles) in 0-6mg nicotine strength, that contain a box with all relevant TPD/TRPR warnings. This bottle (like the others) is in a 30/70 PG/VG ratio.
This e-liquid’s profile is described on the Vape Dinner Lady website as a creamy zesty orange base on a bed of sweet pastry, with a subtle hint of biscuit crunch. On smelling from the bottle, it’s a big blast of citrus orange with some biscuit scent in the background.
On vaping, it’s a blend or Orange at the forefront with a Pastry Biscuit topping it off. I had the impression that this would be like their Lemon Tart, just with Orange instead, but I think it’s mixed quite differently. It may be that the Orange in this overpowers some of that Biscuit and Pastry taste, compared to a more subtle Lemon. Either way, it is a great juice. The Orange is very citrus but not overpowering and blends well with the deep Biscuit flavour. I did use a nicotine shot, so it is probably easing the flavour off slightly, but it’s a perfect strength for me. Alike their Lemon Tart, this is easily an all day vape. A really well blended smooth flavour and definitely one of the best Orange based e-liquids I’ve had. Cloud production is good and also has a great after-taste.
My score – 8.8/10 – Was not let down by this juice, will definitely buy again.
