Pancake Toss by Exceptional Vapes
Today we’re having a review on the first in this range of E-liquids from a UK company. This juice is Pancake Toss by Exceptional Vapes. Exceptional Vapes (or EV) are based in Derbyshire, UK and ship worldwide. They have a big selection of E-liquid on their shop website including these Gold TPD range and other short-fills. There is also a few concentrates and they have also dipped into selling some hardware.
This review and forthcoming EV reviews in the next few weeks will be covering their Gold range. These are TPD ready 10ml bottles. Nicotine options are in 3mg and 6mg strengths and is a PG/VG of 30/70. The bottle is easily squeezable but tough, so no problems getting juice through the nozzle. It contains a child safety cap obviously and is supplied in a small box. The box doesn’t contain an information leaflet but all warnings and relevant information are printed on the bottle label. It also has a peel back on the label to read more warnings. The box contains some information including ingredients and the usual Nicotine warnings. Box and label design is in gold with the EV logo.
I’ve been looking for a Pancake based juice so keen to try this one. This E-liquid is described on the EV website as light fluffy pancakes drizzled with lashings of syrup, infused with a side of ripe strawberries. The juice looks deeply steeped in the bottle so should be all set to vape.
Device used: Yihi SX Mini G Class with Geekvape Peerless RDA with 0.4 ohm coil.
On smelling from the bottle, its a very noticeable ripe Strawberry scent alongside some pastry. I can also pick up on a deep Maple Syrup scent. It smells really moreish.
On vaping, straight away, I taste a very deep Maple Syrup alongside Pastry base behind. The Strawberry taste isn’t as strong as I picked up originally by scent, but the taste changes with intensity as you change wattage. The more you vape the Strawberry pops out more. It’s a sweet juice but not overly done, so could be a great all day vape, if you like your Desert based vapes. It’s really well blended and the syrupy pancake makes a pleasant change with the Strawberry than the usual Strawberry based E-liquids. There is no harshness about this juice even at 6mg. Cloud production is good in this 70VG. I wanted to try a good Pancake juice and wasn’t let down by this at all, its a very moreish E-liquid.
My score: 8.5/10 – A great Desert liquid and a change to taste the Strawberry alongside a Pancake.
