Lemon Tangy Tart by Exceptional Vapes

Another review today from EV’s Gold TPD range, this one is Lemon Tangy Tart by Exceptional Vapes. EV are based in Derbyshire, UK and their website has a vast amount of their different ranges of E-liquids. They also sell some Hardware and some juice from other manufacturers. There has been a few Lemon Tart based liquids reviewed on this blog so am keen to see how this one vapes.

The bottle is in TPD compliant 10ml and is supplied in a small box. Printed on the box is the usual Nicotine warnings and EV’s contact info. The bottle label also contains more in-depth warnings with a peel back label. Contact info and ingredients are also listed on the label alongside EV’s logo in gold and black. There is also the best before date printed along the top of the bottle. The bottle cap is child safety and the bottle is made with tough, but easily squeezable plastic. PG/VG is in a default 30/70 and Nicotine options are in 3mg and 6mg.

This Lemon Tangy Tart liquid is quite dark so is well steeped and ready to go. The EV website describes this juice as thick homemade sweet lemon curd, set within this sweet pastry tart. A true tangy tart that will have your lips smacking and lining your tongue with tasty lemon curd. On smelling from the bottle and while dripping on the wicks, there is a smell of quite strong Lemon Curd/Lemon meringue. It smells quite a lot different to other Lemon Tart based liquids.

Device used: Yihi SX Mini G Class and Geekvape Peerless RDA with 0.4 ohm coil.

On vaping, straight away it’s clear to see where the ‘Tangy’ part in the name originted. The Lemon definitely has a tang to it and seems more Lemon Curd like than other liquids of the same name. The Biscuit Pastry base is there but more in the background with the Lemon tart’iness taking more of a hold. It’s definitely more of a unique Lemon Tart compared to others, no better or worse, but different. It’s clear EV have put their own spin on this and not going by the book to copy others. It’s a smooth juice without harshness, even at 6mg Nicotine strength. Cloud production is good at 70VG.

My score: 8.8/10 – A more Curdy of the Lemon Tarts out there!

The price is currently £3.99 for a 10ml bottle and is available on the EV links in the opening paragraph of this review.
