Cast-away Coconut by Vape Dodo

Today, we’re reviewing another in the line from a UK company. This one is Cast-away Coconut by Vape Dodo. This is number 3 in a current 4 E-liquid line (soon to be 5). Vape Dodo originate from London, UK and their range can be purchased from their website, as well as stockists like Vape Club.

The bottles are in TPD/TRPR compliant 10ml bottles (50ml short-fill zero nicotine bottles also available) and come in a small box. The design detail on both the box and bottle label is brilliant. Much thought has gone into the artwork and theme of this range. Printed alongside the design on the box is information including warnings, Vape dodo’s contact info and ingredients. There is a batch number and expiry date on the bottom of the box. The bottle label also covers this info, printed alongside the Vape Dodo logo and theme. It is tough plastic but easily squeezable to get juice out the nozzle and has a child safety screw cap. Nicotine strengths are in 0mg, 3mg and 6mg and PG/VG ratio is in their default of 20/80, so clouds should be good. Cast-away Coconut’s flavour profile is Fresh coconut with a hint of sweet fruit. Vape Dodo have put together a small story-like description to match the theme of the range (clickable pictures at the bottom of review).

On smelling from the bottle and dripping up the wicks, it’s a really nice fruit smell, not overpowering, alongside a very creamy Coconut scent.

Device used: Yihi SX Mini G Class and Geekvape Peerless with 0.4ohm coil.

On vaping, it is a really moreish juice. There is a creamy Coconut blended alongside some fruit. It isn’t an all-out Tropical juice, like a Pina Colada, to me, it’s more subtle and not as sweet. The prominent Fruit tastes like a Raspberry but works amazingly well with the Coconut. I am not really that into Coconut flavours, but again, Vape Dodo have changed my opinion and cannot get enough of this at the moment, it’s mixed perfectly. I think so far this is my favourite of the range, it’s very smooth and no harshness to the juice. There is just the right amount of flavouring, it’s not over-sweet or muted in any way. It’s easily an all day vape. Cloud production is good in the 80VG.

My score: 8.9/10 – A really well blended Fruit and Creamy Coconut. A really well made E-liquid!

Vape Dodo currently have the price at £4.99 for 10ml and £14.99 for the 50ml short-fill. Credit links are within the first paragraph. Thanks for reading.

Really great review EJR, I was a little iffy with coconut e-juices until i tried “Castle Long” flavour that is mixed with bourbon!
However this sound absolutely delicious with the raspberry notes, i’m very tempted to try the Dodo range out!
Thanks for the review and helping spread the word!

Cheers VT, I’ll have to check that juice out! This one has really changed my opinion on Coconut. I’m used to the Pina Colada’s that all seem really sweet with synthetic Coconut, this Vape Dodo one is brilliant. It’s a great range, definitely worth a go.

I’ve still got to check that brew bros stuff you recommended, I seem to see posts everywhere online saying how good it is.
