Red Diesel by Exceptional Vapes

Here is another juice in the line of EV’s TPD Gold Edition E-liquid range, this one is Red Diesel by Exceptional Vapes. EV originate from Derby in the UK and have a website selling their vast E-liquid ranges. As well as their own E-liquids, they also sell some concentrates, guest juices and a selection of hardware.

Exceptional Vapes Gold Edition range are all in TPD/TRPR compliant 10ml bottles. Nicotine options are in 3mg, 6mg and 12mg and has a default PG/VG ratio of 30/70. The bottle is supplied in a small box which includes information and the usual TPD Nicotine warning. The bottle label covers more warnings with the peel back part and also contains ingredients and EV’s contact info. This is all printed alongside EV’s logo in gold and black. The bottle has a child proof safety cap and is in rigid plastic, but easily squeezable to get juice out of the tip. Printed along the top of the bottle is the best before date and batch number.

I’m guessing by the title of this juice, that it is EV’s take on the well known ‘Red Astaire’ liquid that has been around for some years. It is described on EV’s website as our very well known blend of fruity berries, menthol eucalyptus and blueberry all mixed to refuel your vape. The liquid has been steeped well so should be all set to vape. On smelling from the bottle, it’s a strong Menthol Red Berry scent, a bit like the ‘Tunes’ lozenges in the UK.

Device used: Asmodus Minikin V2 and Geekvape Peerless RDA with 0.4 ohm coil.

On vaping, its a big blast of Blackcurrant and Berry fruits along with Menthol. It’s a very good version of the well known ‘Red Astaire’. If you like your liquids strong and bursting with Menthol and cooling, this is it. The Fruits are strong and not synthetic tasting and the Menthol is not overloaded, but more than enough to know what you’re vaping. If Menthol vapes are your thing, this could be a good all day vape. A little strong for me, but definitely something to pick up now and again in a tank. Cloud production is good at 70VG.

My score: 8/10 – EV’s very own Red Astaire!

The price is currently £3.99 for a 10ml bottle and is available on the EV links in the opening of this review.
