Vikki Sponge by MoMo Bakery
Today we’re reviewing a new E-liquid from a UK company, this is Vikki Sponge by MoMo Bakery. MoMo created a new line of 3 Bakery flavour E-liquids including this one, Apple Splatter and Berry Pavlova. They also have the usual MoMo range and another line called Loco Lola. They originate from Kent, UK and have a really good website with all the juice ranges and merchandise, including clothing and build mats.
At time of writing, these MoMo Bakery range come in short-fill bottles, with 50ml of zero Nicotine E-liquid in a 60ml bottle. There is plenty of space in the bottle to add Nicotine shot, and has the squeezy dripper built into the cap. The bottle is in bright pink, wrapped in the Momo label. The label contains MoMo’s contact info, ingredients and warning advice, all alongside the MoMo character with a Bakery theme. The juice is in a default 30/70 PG/VG ratio and recommended steeping time of 2 weeks. Vikki Sponge flavour is described on the MoMo website as a double helping of soft and light buttery sponge cake with a generous helping of clotted cream and strawberry jam sandwiched in the middle. A Victoria Sponge based E-liquid is something definitely in my own flavour profile so am keen to see how this tastes.
On smelling from the bottle and while dripping up the wicks, it is a really moreish sweet scent. The smell has it all; a sweet Strawberry along with deep Cream and Cakiness. It is quite a jammy Strawberry scent so this is going to fit the Victoria Sponge profile well.
Device used: Asmodus Minikin V2 and Geekvape Peerless RDA with 0.4 ohm coil.
On vaping, it’s a sweet cake, filled with Strawberries and Cream. It’s more Strawberry on the inhale and then the exhale brings out more of the creamy Cakiness. It’s a very nice rich juice and is packed with flavour. The Strawberry tastes more of a jammy Strawberry and the Cake flavour compliments it well. It’s definitely a good spin on flavour than the usual Strawberry and Cream liquids. It is sweet, but after adding a Nicotine shot, it tones it back a bit to make it an easy all day vape. It’s a really good E-liquid and am now going to put it straight into a tank! I don’t think it will last long. Cloud production is good at 70VG.
My score: 9/10 – A sweet, packed with flavour Strawberry Cream Cake. A quality juice!
You can order Vikki Sponge, currently at £14 from the links in the opening of this review. You can also purchase their E-liquid at many Vape Shops in the UK. If the shop doesn’t stock it, they need to!
