Cornish Ice Cream by WizMix
I’m having a vape today on a Desert E-liquid, this one is Cornish Ice Cream by WizMix. WizMix are a brand from the UK and this was supplied by popular UK vendor; E-Cigarette Direct. They have 20 shops spread out across the UK and a really good website for mail orders. The website is nicely laid out and is filled with some really good E-liquids, E-cig kits, devices and other hardware. They were one of the first UK Vape companies, starting the business in 2008. There is currently 30 flavours in this WizMix range and we’ve got a few to try out over the next week or two.
Cornish Ice Cream is supplied in a TPD compliant 10ml bottle with a child safety screw cap. It’s a nice squeezy bottle so no problems getting juice out of the nozzle. A light blue and white label wraps the bottle with printed warnings, ingredients, manufacturer contact info, Nicotine strength, batch number and best before date. There is varying Nicotine strengths of Cornish Ice Cream available on the E-Cigarette Direct website at 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg. The base mix is in 50PG/50VG so perfect if using in a mouth to lung device that is fussy with wicking thicker juices.
The flavour profile of Cornish Ice Cream is described on the E-cigarette Direct website as a soft creamy vanilla ice-cream vape juice from ejuice collection WizMix. Ice Cream E-liquids are definitely one that appeal to me, so am interested in how this tastes. The juice is a nice colour so all steeped and ready to go. On smelling from the bottle, it’s a really nice genuine Vanilla Ice Cream scent. It doesn’t smell over-sweet and the creams in there smell really good.
Device used: Yihi SX Mini G Class and Wotofo Nudge RDA with 0.4 ohm coil.
On vaping, there is more Vanilla there than the smell gives off. It’s a creamy Vanilla on the inhale with more of that cream taste cutting through on the exhale. Some Vanilla based E-liquids are quite over-done with Vanilla, but this is a nice sweet-tasting Vanilla that blends in more with the Creams, as opposed to dominating the whole E-liquid. It’s a nice juice and would be a good all day vape if Cream E-liquids are your thing, as it’s not too rich or sweet, without being really muted. The cloud production isn’t too bad for a 50/50 juice. There is no synthetic after-taste or any harshness on the inhale.
My score: 8.2/10 – A nice sweet Vanilla Cream taste!
