Frostbite by Decadent Vapours

Today, I’m going to be having a vape on a menthol based E-liquid, this is Frostbite by Decadent Vapours, from their popular ‘djinni’ range. This is now the sixth review of an eight E-liquid line, and so far, the range has been outstanding. Decadent Vapours originate from Swansea in the UK and since starting business in 2009. They are a really popular name in vaping due to their great E-liquid flavours, concentrates and customer service.

Frostbite is supplied in a 10ml TPD compliant bottle. You can also buy it in 5 x 10ml and 10 x 10ml options. There is varying Nicotine strengths of zero, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg. It is also sold in concentrate or DV’s 30ml ‘shake and vape’ option. The Frostbite bottle is in blue with a dark blue child safety screw cap. A dark blue label wraps the bottle containing printed warnings, flavour title, ingredients, batch number and best before date. This is a base ratio of 40PG/60VG which is the default of this ‘djinni’ range. The bottle is in tough plastic but easy squeezable to get juice out from the nozzle.

The flavour profile is described on the Decadent website as Frostbite vape juice is a refreshing vape of icy menthol and cool, clean peppermint. Perfect for a little pick-me-up and an all-day vape for mint and menthol fans. On smelling from the bottle it’s a very fresh minty smell, like an opened a stick of chewing gum, with some Menthol in the background. I’m not really a big fan of Menthol in E-liquids but am slowly coming around to it if it’s mixed well with other flavours.

Device used: Yihi SX Mini G Class and Wotofo Nudge RDA with 0.6 ohm coil.

On the vape, it’s a really nice fresh Minty taste, with some Menthol popping through on the back-note. The Menthol isn’t over-done or really strong, there is just enough to nicely combine with that fresh Peppermint. You can feel cooling on the palette and a perfect vape for a touch of vapers tongue. There isn’t any harshness and for being a Menthol E-liquid, its a very smooth vape. If you’re a minty or Menthol vaper, it is definitely one to check out if you haven’t already.

My score: 8.9/10 – A really fresh Minty taste with a touch of Menthol.

You can buy Frostbite via the links in the review starting at £5.95 for 10ml. The concentrate starts at £3.95 for 10ml and the 30ml Shake and Vape is currently £9.95. Thanks for reading.
