BlackJack Twist by Halo

We’ve got another review today from a UK E-liquid, this one is BlackJack Twist by Halo Vapour Co. Halo is the own brand of popular UK Vape vendor; Ecigarette Direct. They have 20 shops around the UK and a fully stocked website, with many brands of E-liquids, starter vape kits, a selection of mods and atomisers, as well as other vaping hardware. There is currently 20 flavours in their Halo range and due to having a good reputation for cost and flavour, are also popular at other vape outlets.

Halo’s BlackJack Twist is supplied in a 10ml bottle inside a small box. The box has printed warnings, ingredients and contact information, alongside the Halo heading and flavour title. There is a sheet folded inside the box that includes more warnings and E-liquid instructions. The 10ml bottle is TPD compliant and has a large child safety screw cap. A Black label wraps the bottle with printed ‘Halo Vapour Co’ title and flavour name. There is also printed warnings, ingredients, contact info and the E-liquid Nicotine strength. The bottle is in tough plastic, but quite easy to squeeze juice through the nozzle. There is varying Nicotine strengths of Halo BlackJack Twist available on the Ecigarette Direct website in zero, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg. Base mix is 50PG/50VG so great for mouth-to-lung vaping set-ups or to just throw into an RDA or tank.

The flavour profile is described on the Ecigarette Direct website as if you loved BlackJack sweets as a child, then this flavour is for you. BlackJack Twist delivers the delicious, full-bodied taste of aniseed with subtle notes of sherbet on the exhale, and is smooth and easy to vape. This flavour is sweet, unique, and guaranteed to make you feel a little nostalgic. On smelling from the bottle and while dripping up the wick, it smells exactly like the Blackjack chewy sweets. It’s a very strong but sweet Aniseed scent.

Device used: Yihi SX Mini G Class and Wotofo Nudge RDA with 0.6 ohm coil.

On vaping, the taste is exactly like first putting a Blackjack sweet in your mouth. The Aniseed is deep, but with a sweet candy-type taste and there is a nice Sherbet sitting alongside, which for me, comes out more on the exhale. It’s a bang-on Blackjack tasting E-liquid, exactly like the sweets. There isn’t any synthetic taste to the liquid and no harshness on the throat at 50PG. If you are looking for a good candy sweets E-liquid and like Aniseed and enjoyed Blackjacks, this should be on your shopping list!

My score: 8.7/10 – A spot-on taste to the Blackjack sweets in an E-liquid! A great mix.

You can purchase BlackJack Twist by Halo at Ecigarette Direct via the links in the opening of review. The price is currently £3.99 for 10ml and at the moment, you can buy any 3 Halo liquids for £9.99.
