Blueberry Donut by Gloop
Back for another juice review today and this one is Blueberry Donut by Gloop. This is one from a brand new range of four shortfill E-liquids and was kindly supplied by E-cigarette Direct. They are a popular vape vendor based out of Swansea, UK and have a large range of competitively priced E-liquids on their website. These include great brands such as Element and Cosmic Fog. They also run a popular vaping blog called ‘Ashtray Blog‘ and own many stores here in the UK.
Gloop’s Blueberry Donut is 50ml of E-liquid in a 60ml shortfill bottle, supplied in a box. The box is blue and has a graphic of sprinkles around it, giving it a Desert/Bakery feel. The ‘Gloop’ title also has the appearance of a frosted Donut on a graffiti style font face. This appears on the front of the box, along with the #AwesomeSauce branding and the flavour title. The back of the box has printed warnings and storage instructions above the printed ingredients and contact information. The bottom of the box has the stock barcode and the top lid of the box has the flavour title, bottle size and showing that it is 0mg Nicotine. The bottle is a clear 60ml unicorn shortfill bottle. A blue label with a sprinkles graphic that matches the outer box, wraps the bottle. This is behind the Gloop titled graffiti font that appears down the bottle, above the flavour title. On the reverse of the label appears printed cautions, ingredients and contact info. At the bottom of that is a batch code and E-liquid best before date. A child safety cap is on the bottle and it features one of those removable nozzles to add the Nicotine shot. These make adding the shot so much easier by simply lifting out the nozzle, than struggling with pliers trying to pull off the cap and potentially losing juice.
The flavour profile of Blueberry Donut by Gloop is described on the E-cigarette Direct website as a finger-lickin’ donut whose centre is absolutely oozing with wham-bam blueberry jam. This E-liquid is listed as a 70VG/30PG. On smelling from the bottle, it’s a nice scent of a deep Blueberry alongside a sweet smelling Pastry in the background. I’m not the biggest fan of just Blueberry based E-liquids, so we’ll see how this tastes along with the Donut flavour.

On the vape, it’s a really moreish mixture of a sweet Blueberry mixed with a rich, sugary Donut taste. The Blueberry taste to me isn’t that of a really fruity Blueberry, but more of a syrupy sweet Blueberry that blends so well with the Donut. Of course, the Blueberry taste is there and not muted, but it’s mixed so well in with the Bakery taste. I’ve found that some Donut flavours seem to pump too much of the fruit in, leaving little Donut flavour, but this isn’t like that. This is a perfect blend. It’s quite rich but not an over-sweet E-liquid, so easy enough for an all day vape. There isn’t any synthetic taste and clouds are good at the 70VG mix. It has neat packaging and well presented.
My score: 8.8/10 – A brilliant E-liquid if you’re into both Blueberry and Bakery, a perfect mix!
