Virginia Tobacco by Vapemate
Back with another review from a popular UK brand. This is Virginia Tobacco from Vapemate and is another Tobacco flavour from their classic range. This was supplied by UK vape vendor; E-Cigarette Direct. The full Vapemate range is currently in-stock on their website, along with other great brands of E-liquids, such as Riot Squad and Nasty Juice. They also supply some great pod kits which are perfect to use with an E-liquid such as this one. Shipping from them is very quick and they also offer free UK delivery when spending over £20.
How does it come?
Virginia Tobacco by Vapemate is supplied in a TPD complaint 10ml size bottle, which is in a small box. The front of the box includes the printed Nicotine warning, listed under the VG/PG ratio and the Nicotine level of the bottle. A dark brown strip above has the printed flavour name with the Vapemate Classic title and logo above. At the top of the box has a Tobacco graphic. The back of the box has the printed Nicotine warning with the Vapemate web and contact address above. The right side of the box has the barcode and bottle size of 10ml. The left side includes printed ingredients and safety warnings of using E-liquid. The bottom of the box has a recycle icon and ‘Please recycle me’ printed text.
Inside the box is the 10ml bottle of Virginia Tobacco and a small folded sheet. This contains the usual printed warnings and Vapemate’s contact info. The bottle is a clear bottle with a black screw top, which has the usual child safety. A white label wraps the bottle and has the juice title above the ratio and Nicotine strength. There is also smaller text on each side containing safety warnings, Vapemate’s contact information, batch number and E-liquid expiry date.
My bottle of Virginia Tobacco is in 12mg Nicotine strength and is in the Vapemate Classic’s default ratio of 50VG/50PG. This flavour is described on the E-Cigarette Direct website as another Vapemate favourite, this e-liquid will be instantly recognisable to fans of popular rolling tobacco brands. I am going to change the usual set-up’s to test this juice out with something more suited. I’m going to try it on a refillable pod stick which will be more likely used with this juice.

How does it taste?
On the vape, it’s a sweet, but not over-strong tasting Tobacco. Similar to the last Vapemate review of Amber Blend, Virginia Tobacco’s taste is definitely like rolling Tobacco before it gets burnt as a Cigarette. It is quite sweet tasting for a Tobacco and Vapemate have done a good job on making it like the taste of Golden Virginia. The throat hit is good at 12mg and not too harsh (especially in a pod kit) but enough to feel it kick a bit. Another good Tobacco E-liquid that would be good for those looking to transition into vaping. This is good enough for an all day vape and isn’t too synthetic-tasting for a Tobacco vape
My score: 8.3/10 – Another decent little juice from Vapemate for smokers, or those vapers that want to re-create that smoking taste!
