Red Lips by Vampire Vape
Another E-liquid review today and this is from a popular brand that hasn’t appeared on the blog so far. This is Red Lips by Vampire Vape. They originate from the UK and have a large range of low-cost, but very popular E-liquids. This was supplied by UK Vape vendor; E-Cigarette Direct who stock a large amount of Vampire Vape E-liquids. They also supply a good line-up of vaping hardware including pod systems. These work really well with 50VG/50PG E-liquids like this. E-Cigarette Direct also run vaping blog ‘Ashtray Blog‘, featuring a lot of vaping information and help articles for new vapers.
The Packaging
Red Lips by Vampire Vape comes in a TPD compliant 10ml bottle. There is a light Purple child safety cap on the top. A label wraps the bottle with a Purple background. This has a printed ‘Vampire Vape’ title and their logo of a cartoon-looking Vampire. On one side of the graphic is a ‘Made in the UK’, and on the other side is the Nicotine level, which is ‘3mg’ for this bottle. Under the title and graphic is the printed flavour name of the E-liquid. In a block along the whole bottom of the label, is the usually printed Nicotine warning that we see on all E-liquids containing Nicotine (and even on hardware that doesn’t).
On the right side of the label is the bar-code and warning graphics and on the left side is printed warnings and information on the E-liquid. The label also peels back on itself to reveal more information on the E-liquid and Vampire Vape’s contact details. The bottle itself is easy to squeeze so you won’t have to fight with it while filling up the tank.
The E-liquid
The title of ‘Red Lips’ makes me assume it tastes of the ‘Cherry Lips’ Candy sweet, which was around many years ago and still in shops these days. The flavour is described on the E-Cigarette Direct website as a medley of blood red sweet cherries, freshly picked strawberries and mixed berries. On smelling from the bottle, I mainly pick up on a Cherry scent but there is definitely some other fruit mixed in. My bottle of Red Lips is in a 50VG/50PG and is 3mg Nicotine strength, but if you order the higher Nicotine versions on E-Cigarette Direct, the ratio is 40VG/60PG.
Device used: Yihi SX Mini G Class and Wotofo Recurve RDA with 0.4 ohm clapton coil.
How does it taste?
On the vape, straight on the inhale, you’re met with a sweet candy Cherry. Once inhaled, you get the taste of a cluster of Berries sitting in the background. It all blends nicely on the exhale and you’re left with a nice Cherry fruity after-taste. It definitely has the ‘Cherry Lips’ taste going on but those mixed Berries take it a bit further from that. It’s a pleasant sweet juice and definitely one for Cherry vapers or those into general fruit flavours. There isn’t any harshness or dodgy after-taste and cloud production is pretty good being a 50/50 ratio.
My score: 8.5/10 – If you like Cherry flavour E-liquids, this one won’t let you down! The mixed Berry in there compliments it well.
