Strawberries & Cream by The Rochford Project

The Rochford Project Strawberries & Cream

An E-liquid review today with a juice that I’ve vaped before. This is Strawberries & Cream by The Rochford Project. This E-liquid was originally released a few years ago and has recently been re-released in new look Chubby Gorilla V3 bottles. The Rochford Project currently have 6 flavours in the range. Jay from The Rochford Project always gives great attention to detail to each flavour with the package design, how they are presented and the taste they produce. After this E-liquid, there is one more in the current range to review, which will be live within a few weeks. You can read other E-liquid reviews on The Rochford Project range here.

The Bottle and Design

Strawberries & Cream comes supplied in a 60ml bottle with 50ml of E-liquid. You can easily pop off the top cap if you need to add a Nicotine shot. The bottle is clear plastic and wrapped in a black matte foil label. At the front of the label is ‘The Rochford Project’ at the top in swirly White font. Under that is ‘Strawberries & Cream’ in the same font in Red. At the bottom in normal White font is ‘Nicotine Free (Flavoured E-Liquid)’. At the back of the label is a Red panel with White print inside. This covers the flavour profile, usual E-liquid warnings, how to add Nicotine and ingredients. The Rochford Project’s contact and social media info is also printed here. Under the panel is the usual warning graphics and showing that its ’50ml’ and ‘0mg’ E-liquid inside the bottle.

On the top of the bottle is a Black screw cap with the child safety lock. Printed on the side of the screw cap is a batch number and expiry date of the E-liquid. The bottle is good quality and the label design is very clean in The Rochford Project’s theme, that we’ve seen on the previous E-liquids.

The E-liquid

This flavour is described on The Rochford Project’s website as deep filled cheesecake, sweet and fresh strawberries in a thick Madagascan vanilla double cream with a butter crumbled sugar biscuit base. On smelling from the bottle, its a really deep Strawberry with rich Creaminess. There is a hint of Biscuit base but it is subtle on the scent. I’ve had this bottle for a good few weeks now and the colour has got deeper and deeper over time, so this should be flowing with flavour on the vape.

Device used: Vaporesso Luxe Nano and SKRR-S tank with 0.2 ohm coil.

How does it taste?

On vaping, you first get a real deep fresh tasting Strawberry, alongside a very creamy Vanilla. A few seconds on the inhale and you are met with a Biscuit base flavour that compliments it really well. The exhale gives a rich blend of all the flavours combined, leaving a rich Strawberry Cheesecake after-taste. The Vanilla cream in this sets it apart from other Strawberry cream E-liquids giving it quite a unique taste. As mentioned above, this juice is definitely a steeper! After leaving for a few weeks, the creams and Biscuit-base pop out more richness to blend nicely with the deep Strawberry taste. Cloud production is good and there isn’t any synthetic taste to the E-liquid. It’s a rich taste, so if you like it that way, it’s a good all day vape.

My score: 9/10 – This is a Strawberry-based Desert E-liquid at it’s best! Absolutely packed with flavour!
