Lemon Tart by Mr.Wicks

A Desert-based E-liquid review today and this is Lemon Tart by Mr.Wicks. The Mr.Wicks line is a range of E-liquid coming from the MoMo E-liquid stables! MoMo are based out of Kent in the UK and this Mr.Wicks range has around 17 flavours which include Desert, Sweets and Popcorn. You can purchase the Mr.Wicks range of E-liquids via the MoMo website, as well as all of the other ranges and flavours.

The Packaging

Lemon Tart is supplied as a 50ml short-fill. You get 50ml of E-liquid in a 60ml bottle so you can add a Nicotine shot. The bottle is a clear Chubby Gorilla bottle with a safety screw cap. A bright coloured label wraps the bottle in Yellow/Red with a large graphic on the front of Mr.Wicks himself, encased in a vape cloud. Below the graphic is the title ‘Mr.Wicks’ ‘Lemon Tart’ in stylish fonts.

On the left side of the label is the printed text ‘0mg 50ml Nicotine Free’ and under that is the bar-code of the E-liquid. On the right side of the label is printed warnings, ingredients, MoMo’s contact info, the ratio of the juice, batch number and expiry date.

The label is very well designed, bright, appealing and carries all the necessary info.

The E-liquid

This E-liquid profile is not rocket science to work out and is described on the MoMo website as; Lemon Tart by Mr Wicks is a zesty tongue-tingling lemon tart. On smelling from the bottle, it is exactly the ‘zesty’ that stands out. The scent has a very punchy Lemon and I can also pick up on a sweet Meringue in the mix. Base ratio of the juice before adding a Nic shot is 70VG/30PG. This has been sitting around for a few weeks so is all steeped and ready to vape.

Device used: Geekvape Aegis X and Wotofo Recurve with 0.4 ohm Clapton coil.

The Flavour

On the vape, Lemon Tart by Mr.Wicks is a Citrus zesty sweet Lemon alongside a Meringue and some light pastry base. The inhale is giving the Lemon the leader of the pack, along with some heavy Meringue sitting in amongst it. The exhale makes way for some pastry-base flavour to pop up in the mix and blend alongside. This leads into the after-taste which gives you a very lingering Lemon Meringue flavour.

The juice is a sweet one but if Lemon Tart’s are your thing, it’s an easy all-day vape without richness. If I was to break this down compared to others, I would say this is heavier on the Lemon/Meringue and lighter on pastry. Although, this will depend on your set-up and wattage that could change the flavour somewhat.

My score: 8.7/10 – A sweet and Citrus Lemon Tart, definitely up there along with the best Lemon Tart E-liquids I’ve tried!

You can pick up Lemon Tart by Mr.Wicks via the link to MoMo at the start of the review. One thing that struck me is how good the current price is. Just £9.95 for 50ml of E-liquid is really good for this quality of E-liquid. Go give it a try and thanks for reading!
