Tropical Custard by LDN LIQ
Back with another E-liquid review today and this is Tropical Custard by LDN LIQ. This is a UK Eliquid brand released by the very popular UK Ecig Store who has been in the vape business since 2012. They are among the most popular online stores within the UK and also have many walk-in vape shops, based in London and the southeast of England.
Obviously, their website is packed full of kits, mods, tanks, Eliquids, and vape accessories that you could shake a stick at! Some great prices and deals so check them out if you’re in the market for anything new.
This LDN LIQ range features many flavours of mostly sweet and dessert, available in 10ml and shortfill size, and I’ve been sent a little selection to try out. You can check out a few more short-format reviews of these on The Vape Reviews Instagram page.
So, let’s have a look at this Tropical Custard, and will give you my thoughts on the flavour.
The Packaging
Tropical Custard by LDN LIQ comes in a clear Chubby Gorilla 60ml bottle. There’s 50ml of Eliquid inside so you have a 10ml space for a Nicotine shot if you need it. A clear safety screw cap is on the top of the bottle.
Wrapped around the bottle is the labeling. The front of the silver-coloured label has the printed brand and flavour title, with background coloured images of the key flavours in the mix, which in this is Tropical Fruits. At the bottom of the front of the label is the printed 50ml amount and that it is zero nicotine. Just off to the left is the printed base ratio which is 70VG/30PG.
Each side of the back of the label is a few printed panels. One part shows how to add the Nicotine shot with more E-liquid details printed above. The other printed panel includes company contact info, E-liquid ingredients, cautions and warnings, batch number, bar code, and best before date.
It is minimal but very clean-looking labelling with all the info you want to see on an Eliquid bottle.
The E-liquid
Tropical Custard is described on the UK Ecig Store website as “Tropical Custard is a delectable dessert vape juice from LDN LIQ. Layers of thick custard have been drizzled over fresh tropical fruits to fuse together and create the nicest tasting dessert vape around”. As mentioned above the base ratio is 70VG/30PG.
I can’t recall ever having a mixed fruit Custard before, only the usual Strawberry or Banana, so am interested to see how this one tastes and how well it works. On having a whiff from the bottle, you can definitely pick up the fruitiness of the juice with a sweet Custard scent sitting in the background.

The Flavour
On the vape, Tropical Custard by LDN LIQ is a nice mix of Tropical fruits all blended together with a Custard note. A lot of fruit-based Custard liquids tend to bombard the mix with Vanilla Custard. This Tropical Custard doesn’t really do that. Of course, there is a prominent Vanilla Custard in the mix, but it doesn’t overtake the fruitiness and it nicely marries it all together. On this current set-up I’m using, the Custard powers through more on exhale and the Fruits more pronounced on inhale. It also leaves a really pleasant aftertaste.
There is a definite Tropical-ness to the fruits with a Strawberry sitting alongside a Pineapple, being the more noticeable fruits. Sitting in amongst is a sweet Vanilla Custard. The flavourings are blended brilliantly bringing some sweetness with the fruits, among some richness of the Vanilla Custard.
As a predominantly dessert vaper, I sometimes like to change things up with some fruit E-liquids. This Eliquid bridges that gap perfectly, giving the best of both worlds, and is something I could vape all day on without it becoming too sickly. A really nice juice by the folks at LDN LIQ and something a bit different to try, as opposed to the usual Strawberry or Banana Custard mixes out there.
My score: 8.7/10 – A very decent fruity Custard that is good for an all-day vape!
