Mangabeys by Twelve Monkeys
An E-liquid review again today and this is Mangabeys by Twelve Monkeys. This has been around for a long while now and was always something I was meaning to try out. This was supplied by the gang at E-Cigarette Direct. They have a very popular online vape store selling all the latest and greatest in vape hardware. You will also find a ton of E-liquid ranges and vape accessories on there, all at great prices. There is also free UK delivery on orders over £15.
Twelve Monkeys are a brand from Canada and have a large range of popular E-liquids, so let’s jump in and check this one out.
The Packaging
Mangabeys come in a 60ml clear Chubby Gorilla bottle with 50ml of E-liquid, leaving space for a Nicotine shot. You can also buy the flavour in a 10ml Nicotine Salts version. A colourful shiny label wraps the bottle featuring the printed brand and flavour title over the top of a Tropical flowers graphic. Printed underneath is the mixed flavours in the juice of ‘Pineapple, Mango and Guava’. Also printed on the front is the ratio of ‘0mg, 75VG/25PG and 50ml’.
Over to the left of the label is printed E-liquid warnings as well as the batch number and best-before date. Then over to the right side of the label has printed contact information, branding and the bar-code.
The label and Twelve Monkeys branding are very appealing giving the impression of a more premium style E-liquid.
The E-liquid
Mangabeys by Twelve Monkeys is listed on the E-Cigarette Direct website as; “Mangabeys vape juice by Twelve Monkeys brings a taste of the Caribbean to your vape with a delicious combination of pineapple, guava and mango for that beachside cocktail taste. The taste is further enhanced by the addition of multiple Caribbean fruit elements“.
The base ratio of the juice is 75VG/25PG before adding any shots. Being fruits, steeping the liquid isn’t so important, so if you are adding a shot, shake it up and it’s good to go.
On having a smell from the bottle, it’s a really strong Tropical fruit scent. Just on the smell, you can tell it’s going to be a strong juice without scrimping on flavourings. So let’s give it a vape!

The Flavour
On the vape, Mangabeys is a very flavourful taste of Tropical fruits. The listed flavours of Pineapple, Mango and Guava are predominantly there blending well together during inhale and exhale. There are also some other fruit notes popping through within the mix and I can pick out a Tangerine Orange in there that sits among the fruits.
It’s a really nice juice and the taste reminds me of the Lilt drink with the Caribbean fruit flavour. I know some people are not fans of Mango-based E-liquid, but this more blends with other fruits in this, as opposed to an all-out strong Mango flavour. Mangabeys is definitely a sweet juice full of flavour, it literally smacks you in the face with full-on Tropical Fruit. Even so, if you are a fruity vaper, this is a good all day vape! The flavour stays consistent through the vape and leaves a lingering after-taste.
There isn’t any cooling added which suits me fine, but if you like some cooling in your fruit E-liquids, it would work well in this and you could add a Cooling Shot to it.
My Score: 8.5/10 – A sweet blast of Tropical Fruits all blended nicely together in a bottle!
