Blackdrops by Decadent Vapours – FOTM Feb 18
Today I’m going to be having a vape on Decadent Vapours Flavour of the month. Each month, Decadent slash 50% off of the price of a juice and name it the flavour of the month. They have been good enough to send me this months flavour for February 2018. This one is Blackdrops by Decadent Vapours. Decadent are based in Swansea and have an amazing website with worldwide shipping. They have been in the game since 2009 and have a massive range of fully tested E-liquids.
Device used: Yihi SX Mini G Class and Geekvape Peerless RDA with 0.4 ohm coil.
This bottle is supplied in TPD/TRPR compliant 10ml bottles and this is from their ‘pre-mixed’ range. The bottle is in the usual DV green colour with child-proof cap. The label contains the DV logo and all the relevant warnings with ingredients and PG/VG ratio listed. Nicotine strength options are 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg and can be purchased in 10ml, 50ml and 100ml (obviously all in the 10ml bottles) PG/VG ratio is in 50/50. You can also purchase this flavour in concentrate and shake and vape where you can choose a High VG option.
The flavour is described on the DV website as a powerfully fresh and fruity e-liquid, reminiscent of mentholated blackcurrant lozenges. This blackcurrant and menthol e-liquid is just the vape for when you’re feeling a little under the weather!
On smelling from the bottle, its a really strong Blackcurrant alongside Menthol scent. It pretty much clears the airways just from smelling it 🙂
On vaping, it tastes authentically like the well known Blackcurrant lozenges people buy with colds and sore throats. The Menthol isn’t at all overpowering. I’m not normally a big Menthol fan but this works really well alongside a Sweet Blackcurrant and don’t find it off-putting at all. It’s a smooth vape and not harsh in anyway. It’s a definite Winter vape to clear out the nasals! or generally if you’re a fan of both Blackcurrant and Menthol’s, you’ll love it.

My score: 8.5/10 – Simply a perfectly blended Blackcurrant Menthol juice.
